Glenelg to Skye Ferry

The Skye Ferry is the oldest manual turntable ferry in the world and is owned and run by the Glenelg community.
This clip shows the turntable being pushed round to allow the cars to be driven off when the ferry crosses to the slip at Kylerhea..

The ferry steaming in to land at the Glenelg slip.

While waiting to cross, watch out for Otters, seals, Sea Eagles, porpoise and the odd whale.
The ferry slip is just a couple of miles away from The Lodge
